BollywoodLife was the first to break the news of Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali shutting shop. Due to the declining ratings and major changes, the channel decided to pull the plug on it abruptly, leaving everyone shaken. Despite heavy budget and big names, the series couldn’t do wonders on the rating charts. In fact, it couldn’t even sustain for more than six months. Now that the series has gone off-air, show’s lead Sonarika Bhadoria who plays the docile Anarkali in the series has spoken about it. While bidding farewell to the show, Bhadoria got emotional. On the other hand, her co-star Shaheer Sheikh, who played Salim in the series, shines with optimism. He left a comment on Sonarika’s post writing, “Nobody is saying goodbye.”
Sonarika posted a picture with her co-star and captioned it, “Ta qayamat shukr goyam kard gar khwish ra . .Ah! Gar man baz beenam rui yar khwish ra . . #dastaanemohabbatsalimanarkali Thank you! How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. Until next time @shaheernsheikh @nitinjaishukla @angirav.” Recently, even Shaheer put up a throwback picture on Instagram from their first day of shoot for the show.
