Will one of Colton Underwood‘s exes be handing out the roses as the next “Bachelorette?” Franchise alums Melissa Rycroft and Carly Waddell seem to think so.
“I think the next ‘Bachelorette’ should be Hannah B.,” Waddell, 33, who appeared on Season 19 of “The Bachelor” in 2015, recently told Page Six. “She’s funny, she has personality and she also has this sweet part to her.”
Hannah B., better known as Hannah Brown, was eliminated during Week 7 of the competition. A former pageant queen, who was also named Miss Alabama USA 2018, could possibly be the best fit to follow in the footsteps of last year’s “Bachelorette,” Becca Kufrin.
“I think that she can hold her own, she would be honest with people and she doesn’t seem to have an ego,” Waddell said.
While Hannah B., 24, has found a fan in Waddell, Rycroft, 36, who was dumped by former “Bachelor” Jason Mesnick following the Season 13 finale in 2009 for runner-up Molly Malaney, is rooting for Caelynn Miller-Keyes to jump into the driver’s seat as ABC’s next leading lady.
“She’s my pick to be the next ‘Bachelorette,’” Rycroft said, noting Miller-Keyes’ candidness about her past sexual assault.
“I think she has such a great platform, and where our society is these days to have a female advocate who’s come out of abuse and she speaks so well about it, I think she’d be so great,” she continued.
Miller-Keyes, 23, who finished fourth on Underwood’s season, opened about her experience on the show.
“I was like, ‘People are going to rip me apart on Twitter.’ I thought it was going to be hell, people wouldn’t believe me, and I’d have to relive that same PTSD I had in college of not being believed,” Miller-Keyes previously told Variety.
Although the next “Bachelorette” won’t be announced until Tuesday night during part two of “The Bachelor’s” season finale, spoiler aficionado Reality Steve believes Hannah B. will be tapped for the role.
