Following the pair’s duet of “Shallow” from their film “A Star Is Born,” comedian David Spade took to Instagram, where he commented on Cooper’s chemistry with his co-star.
“Is there any chance these 2 aren’t f–king,” Spade posted, to which Esposito, 45, responded, “Ha,” according to Comments by Celebs.
Cooper, 44, and Esposito split in 2007 after four months of marriage. The actress allegedly slammed her former spouse in her 2015 memoir, “Jennifer’s Way.”
“I should have noticed the red flags from the beginning — actually, they were more like an entire marching band squad of red flags –but I ignored them because, honestly, I didn’t think the relationship was really going to go anywhere,” she wrote, per to Us Weekly. “He was funny, smart, cocky, arrogant, and a master manipulator. I didn’t necessarily find him that attractive, but I figured that I could enjoy his sense of humor and nonsense for a while.”
As for Cooper, he has been dating supermodel Irina Shayk, 33, since 2015. The couple welcomed daughter Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper in 2017.
Esposito isn’t the only star weighing in on Cooper’s steamy show with Gaga, 32, who recently called off her engagement to Christian Carino.
On Monday, Mel B called the performance “uncomfortable” to watch during an appearance on “Good Morning Britain.”
