Even Frank Ocean wants to know Pharrell’s skincare secrets

Pharrell Williams does not age — and Frank Ocean needs to know his beauty routine.

Ocean, 31, covers the latest issue of GQ magazine wearing a green floral Prada turtleneck ($780) and discusses everything from his political engagement during the midterms to his own skincare regimen.

“Man, listen … some days, like today, I feel very beautiful. But some days, like in the winter, when I wear a lot of knit hats, my skin doesn’t like that,” Ocean, whose real name is Christopher Breaux, told his “Blonded Radio” co-hosts Emmett Cruddas and Vegyn.

He also went on to shame men who don’t have a full (or even basic) skincare routine. “I feel like men just go to sleep. They may wash their face or they don’t even bother — they go to sleep with the day face on,” Breaux said. “You really need to do a gentle wash and put a night moisturizer on. You can’t have the retinol in your creams in the day because it makes you more sun-sensitive, so you wanna throw that on at night. I need the night cream because when I wake up I feel very beautiful, moisturized and ready to have people making eye contact with me, ready to look above my eyebrow, below the eyebrow. [Laughs] That’s the life hack right there.”

Pharrell, 45, has often been lauded for his wrinkle-free face and famously told Dazed that the secret to his perfect skin is simple: “I exfoliate like a madman. When you exfoliate and you drink a lot of water, that does good for you,” the father of four said. “To me, the key is just exfoliating, like a monster. There’s a lot of dead skin. All the time. Like a narcissistic madman.”

But Ocean is not buying it. “It’s been all these years, and Pharrell still hasn’t given us the keys yet. He just says ‘exfoliate,’ but it’s not just ‘exfoliate’: We need more keys,” he said.
