After a long wait for any update on Suriya Sivakumar‘s NGK, which is being directed by Selvaraghavan, last month saw the film getting a tentative release date of April 14, which is the Tamil New Year’s Day. And now the makers have finally wrapped up the entire shoot of the film on January 11 in Chennai, which is a great news in itself for Suriya fans. But it’s not just the fans who seem to be elated by the end of all schedules, even superstar Suriya himself seems to be very happy and thankful to the entire team for their cooperation and support. And as a token of thanks, the actor actually gifted a sovereign gold coin to each of the 120 technicians who were involved in the filming of NGK. Now isn’t that really sweet and thoughtful of him to do that?
The film stars Suriya in a rebellious role. Besides him, NGK also features Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi as the leading ladies. It is the first time that Suriya and director Selvaraghavan are collaborating and it will be interesting to see what the duo present to their audience. The music of NGK is being composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
