Lena Dunham defends Jordyn Woods amid Tristan Thompson cheating scandal

Lena Dunham seems to have Jordyn Woods’ back.

On Twitter Tuesday, the former “Girls” star appeared to defend Kylie Jenner‘s one-time best friend after reports surfaced that Woods, 21, had allegedly hooked up with Khloé Kardashian‘s then-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.

“Can you imagine if who you’d made out with when you were 21 had massive public shaming consequences?” Dunham, 32, wrote.

“When I was 21 I kissed my friend’s crush in my bathroom during a dinner party. I was inexplicably wearing a dog leash. I stayed in bed for days feeling hot shame. That was enough of a consequence! Nobody slashed prices on my eyeliner brand or whatever,” she added.

After news broke of the scandal, the price of Woods’ Kylie x Jordyn makeup collaboration was reduced, with some fans later writing scathing reviews of the lip kit. Woods has also been erased from Khloé’s Good American website, where she appeared as a member of the “#GoodSquad.”

Dunham later continued her online commentary, tweeting, “The legal drinking age is 21. The legal going on TV age should be 26.”

“Just weighing in on the important national issues,” she also shared.

Woods, who will appear on Friday’s episode of “Red Table Talk” with Jada Pinkett Smith, became the subject of scrutiny earlier this week after Kardashian confidant Larsa Pippen shaded the model’s forthcoming interview.

“Can’t wait to see which version of her story she tells,” Pippen replied in the comments of Hollywood Unlocked’s Instagram post. “Hope it’s the same she told @khloekardashian when she checked her.”
