Linda Macklowe plans to appeal divorce with newlywed Harry Macklowe

Megadeveloper Harry Macklowe’s former wife of nearly 60 years, Linda Macklowe, plans to appeal their divorce ruling — and is refusing to sell their $700 million art collection — Page Six has exclusively learned.

Harry’s towering Park Avenue proclamation of love for new wife, Patricia Landeau, was plastered on giant billboards to mark Macklowe and Landeau’s marriage on Thursday, at the same address where Linda was once meant to buy a pad.

But the move may have inflamed the epic divorce squabble.

After Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Laura Drager ordered the exes to sell their eye-popping art collection and split it in December, Linda, 80, filed a motion to stay the judgment.

A source told us, “The billboard definitely makes this the craziest divorce of all time . . . Linda thinks it is disgusting and so insensitive. She’s always been so low-key. Linda is appealing the divorce judgment, so this could only make her more determined to fight harder.”

A second source added, “Linda’s strategy is to delay. She has filed a notice to appeal the divorce judgment, even going as far as to criticize the judge herself. The truth is Linda doesn’t want to divide and sell any of the art, she wants to keep it all. Harry just wants to move on.”

When reached by phone, Linda declined to comment, stating, “I prefer privacy.”

Her attorney, John Teitler, refused to discuss the case.

Harry, 81, told us, “My ex-wife filed a stay . . . the courts have not responded, and that was filed when the judgment of divorce was entered.”

He added of any alleged animosity, “The billboards have nothing to do with my former wife. We’re divorced. It’s over. Why wouldn’t I be able to go on with my life?”

He said the giant photos were solely to celebrate his love and respect for the 60-something Landeau.

The judge split Harry and Linda’s estimated $2 billion fortune nearly down the middle, but the divorced duo disagreed on a receiver to offload their art, as well as the value of a Hamptons mansion.

Harry’s lawyer, Dan Rottenstreich, also declined to comment.
