R. Kelly may have forced alleged ‘sex slave’ to lie to cops

R. Kelly allegedly forced one of his alleged “sex slave” victims to lie to cops in the event she was questioned about their relationship, according to her family.

Relatives of Joycelyn Savage claim they have audio recordings of the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer proving his coercion – which were among a mountain of digital evidence turned over to federal prosecutors in New York, TMZ reported Thursday.

Sources told the gossip site that the Savages also had emails and texts between them and Kelly’s ex-assistant Cheryl Mack, who allegedly arranged a 2015 meeting between Joycelyn and the R&B star in Palm Springs, California, that changed everything.

It was after that encounter that Joycelyn, then 19, agreed to move in with him – without her parents’ knowledge. She’s been living with him since, along with Azriel Clary, 21.

In some of the Kelly recordings, the 52-year-old is heard talking about how he’d hide his relationship with Joycelyn, 23, according to TMZ. In another, he allegedly demands that she text him saying she was lying – proof he’d use against her if she ever turned on him.

During a meeting last week in Atlanta, the Savages also provided the feds with social media messages from Kelly’s team from over the years that they say show he had others trying to recruit young women for him.

Gerald Griggs, who represents the Savages, declined to comment, as did the Brooklyn US Attorney’s Office.

Kelly’s lawyer Steve Greenberg said, “We are not going to continue to address anonymous rumors. From now on we are only going to deal with facts.”

Kelly, who is facing sexual abuse charges out of Chicago, has described both young women as his girlfriends – but their parents believe they’re being held against their will as part of his sex cult.
