R. Kelly to file for decrease in child support owed

R&B superstar R. Kelly — who said this week he has less than $400,000 in his bank account — plans to file a court motion to lower the amount of money he owes in child support, according to a new report.

Kelly was sent back to jail on Wednesday for failing to pay $160,000 in child support to his ex-wife, barely a week after he made bail on sex abuse charges.

The singer plans to file a motion on Monday that will seek to reduce the amount he owes to his ex-wife, Drea Kelly, TMZ reported.

A judge will then review the motion and make a decision, according to the gossip site.

Last month, a grand jury indicted Kelly on 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse involving four victims, three of who were under the age of 17.

Kelly has vehemently denied the allegations.
