Rae Sremmurd’s Slim Jxmmi was in the middle of a bloody brawl in New Zealand that sent one person to the hospital.
The rapper, 27, was doing some sightseeing with members of the group’s crew on Thursday in downtown Auckland when the fight occurred after they allegedly took issue with someone filming them, according to TMZ.
The unauthorized recording is supposed to have led to a full-on fight between the parties, during which a bottle was broken and wielded as a weapon. Though it’s unclear who was wielding the broken bottle, one person was reportedly taken to a local hospital with stab wounds following the altercation.
In footage of the brawl, Jxmmi, whose real name is Aaquil Brown, can be seen wrestling a person to the ground.
TMZ reported that the rapper was seen with blood on his body talking to police after the fight was broken up.
Jxmmi and Swae Lee, who does not appear to have been involved in the fight, are currently in Oceania until the middle of the month for a series of concerts. A rep for Rae Sremmurd did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
