Rami Malek has officially found somebody to love.
Malek, 37, who took on the role as Queen’s Freddy Mercury in the film “Bohemian Rhapsody,” confirmed the rumors that he’s been dating his co-star Lucy Boynton during an acceptance speech at the Palm Beach International Film Festival.
“I’m just really honored to be here, so thank you to the Palm Springs Film Festival. It’s a privilege, it’s not lost on me and I’m so appreciative,” he said while accepting the Breakthrough Artist Award, according to Us Weekly. He concluded by saying “thank you, Lucy Boynton. You have been my ally, my confidant, my love. Thank you so much.”
Malek and Boynton, 24, sparked dating rumors while filming in 2017 after a fan Instagram account caught a cute snap of the two looking flirty.
Boynton played Mary Austen, who inspired Mercury’s song “Love of My Life.”
“He is so into her. He goes and visits her in London all the time,” the magazine confirmed last spring.
