Scott Disick has been slammed for “eating Asian food and being racist” after sharing a photo of his daughter Penelope in a restaurant.
The six-year-old, whose mum is Kourtney Kardashian, held her eyelids as he clutched a pair of chopsticks in the photo, shared to his 21 million Instagram followers.
But Scott, 35, swiftly came under fire, and fans claimed Penelope was making a racist pose.
One person wrote beneath the photo: “Why the F is his daughter doing that? Eating Asian food and being racist??”
Another said: “All that wealth, you’d think some would go towards education on ignorance and cultural sensitivity.”
The comments continued throughout the day on his Instagram, with another fan writing: “She is clearly trying to imitate chinese people. But saying that’s racist is ridiculous.”
However, one person raged: “Wow and this is a prime example of how racism is taught. People aren’t born with it. Ignorance at its finest.”
And another laid the blame at Scott’s door, writing: “It’s a parent responsibility to teach a kid to do the right thing.”
Others hit back and weren’t convinced the pose was offensive.
One person wrote: “No one can do anything in this too sensitive world, my goddess. She’s just a kid doing something funny.”
Scott and Kourtney met in 2006 and he’s been a prominent star of Keeping Up With Kardashians since it began in 2007.
He also shares kids Mason, 9, and Reign, 4, with the reality star
Shortly after their most recent break-up, Scott admitted on Australia radio that Kourtney is his “best friend”.
He also confessed that he will love her “until the day I die”
Kourtney recently dined with Scott and Sofia in Aspen last week.
Kim, 38, and her rapper husband Kanye West, 41, joined them.
She had on a pair of black trousers which were very similar to Scott’s fashionista girlfriend Sofia.
