Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer Simmba is unstoppable at the box office. After remaining rock-steady in the weekdays, the masala actioner showed substantial growth in the weekend and turned out to be one of the biggest money spinners at the ticket windows. As per the early estimates, Simmba raked in around Rs 17 crore and now stand with the grand total of Rs 192 crore. The film will enter the Rs 200 crore club by Monday or Tuesday in the domestic market.
Ranveer’s performance as the corrupt police officer Simmba, who has a moral turnaround to become the saviour of justice, has been getting a positive response from critics and audiences.
