Storm ruins starry New Year’s Eve yacht party in St. Barts

Mother Nature shut down nightlife gurus Mike Satsky, Brian Gefter, Will Makris and Lucciano Grzeszczak’s St Bart’s New Years Eve bash.

Guests like Chris Rock, Jared Leto, Lily Donaldson and Hannah Ferguson were expected to board Alan Tisch’s and Michael Rubin’s SS Elixir yacht, dubbed Provocateur Saint Barthélemy, but the freak storm prevented them from attending.

We’re told Darren Aronofsky, Rock, Leto and and venture capitalist Aviv “Vivi” Nevo attended Paul McCartney’s party earlier in the evening and started making their way over to the yacht via a tender.

“It started down-pouring, making the water extremely rocky. The two captain boats tried communicating to strategize the best way to make it to the yacht, but because of the weather they never made it. It was like a full Gillian’s Island. It was too dangerous to be on the water. They were so upset and ultimately gave up on celebrating and went back to Vivi’s yacht where they’re staying,” an insider told us.

Vivi, however, partied with Satsky at the Provocateur after party at Casa while Rock, Leto and Arronofsky stayed back at his yacht.
