The Best Supporting Actor nominee, 23, wore a black button-up with a mandarin collar tucked into slim black trousers and finished off with black Chelsea boots, all by Louis Vuitton.
But it was the actor’s sparkly rosette-embellished harness — which, the brand was quick to clarify, is in fact an “embroidered bib” — that really stole the show.
Chalamet brought his mom Nicole Flender along as his date for the evening. Flender wore a look by Off-White, the other brand designed by Louis Vuitton’s creative director Virgil Abloh, featuring a sleeveless suit jacket and slacks with the word “OFF” printed in large purple letters across the front. A similar jacket is currently available for pre-order on the label’s website for $2,095.
So even if Chalamet doesn’t walk away with a Golden Globe tonight, at least he and his mom can leave knowing they’ve easily secured spots at the top of the best dressed list.
