Whitney Port‘s days on camera may be working against her when it comes to socializing with other moms — even a decade after she left reality TV.

In an emotional video posted on her YouTube page on Thursday, the former star of “The Hills” revealed she attended “a panel discussion event with lots of moms” but left feeling insecure as her attempts at mingling with two women didn’t go so well.

“I got pretty much the same reaction from each of them which was like, ‘I really could not be bothered talking to you right now,’ and they were trying to back out of the conversation as quickly as they possibly could,” the mom of 2-year-old Sonny recalled. “Specifically, these two people have never been super nice to me,” she added.

Explaining how she was never a part of a cool group since middle school, but always wanted to be considered a member, she said that her time as an MTV personality made that complex even worse.

“I think that a lot of these, especially, LA girls don’t think it’s cool,” she said. “I don’t know if they’re embarrassed by me, or think I’m trashy or cheesy or whatever, but this is the vibe that I’m getting but it just does not make me feel good about myself.”

“People think who they’re associated with makes them cool,” she continued. “If I’m not cool enough for them because I was on a reality TV show then they’re not going to try and be friends with me or be seen with me, it definitely hurts to feel like someone doesn’t want to hang out with you or want to have a conversation with you, I take it personally.”

Port starred on “The Hills” alongside Lauren Conrad from 2006-2008 and also had her own spin-off, “The City,” for the following two years. She’s also participating in “The Hills” reboot slated to debut later this year.

And even though she’s worked on other projects in the design and lifestyle spaces, moms in her social circle don’t seem to budge.

“I just feel like every little encounter like this where I can just physically feel them inching away from me just chips away at my self-esteem,” she said, deeming their behavior “passive aggressive bullying” and adding, “It’s, like, especially hard when you’re a new mother and you really want to put yourself out there because this is the time to make life=long relationships. Am I just being so overly sensitive?”

Port admitted that in the long run she has to work on her self-esteem and keep a positive mindset. However, her husband, Tim Rosenman, who filmed the video, closed things out on a harsher but sweet note to bring his wife’s spirits up.

“F–k these people,” he said. “Seriously, if they’re watching and they think this is about them, f–k you, and I won’t f–king look at you in the eye when I see you at a party.”

“I think you’re cool, that’s why I married you,” he concluded.
